The Move to Oracle Cloud. Even with an increased emphasis on healthcare data access and retention, there continues to be a push towards reduced IT budgets. PeopleSoft HCM sessions were well attended and customers came with their questions in hand. Many healthcare customers are continuing to make PeopleSoft their primary HCM application, with some customers in attendance just going live for the first time on PeopleSoft HCM this year. The ability to access and retain comprehensive healthcare records will become even more vital to meet increasingly stringent regulatory requirements. We had the opportunity to not only share what Oracle is doing, but many customers also shared what they have done to help make position management better in their own organizations. The conversation was invaluable to the Oracle team and gave us something to take back and look at as we look towards making PeopleSoft the HCM application of choice for Healthcare. As healthcare organizations strive to improve staff, operation and support effectiveness, the majority of healthcare organizations are taking advantage of integrating their EMR and ERP systems.
